This series of figural paintings features close and extended relatives and serves as a way for me to reexamine the individuality of those connected to me.
Through careful remembering and reflection on cherished family memories; and more cryptic visualizations of memories I have only ever been told about, they are helping me shape a new vision about what it means to be related, how to be family, and what family is.
